Tregondale Manor is a traditional working farm in South East Cornwall and we offer Four Star, Gold Award farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and a self-catering cottage.
The Rowe family has been farming at Tregondale Manor for more than 30 years, Stephanie concentrating on the bed & breakfast and self catering with husband Mervyn and their son Richard, running a herd of pedigree prize wining South Devon cattle and 200 sheep.
We love to share our home with other people, many of whom have become friends returning several times a year.
Situated in an attractive valley close to Liskeard, it is a great place for families, with freedom to roam and its own nature trails. We are near Looe and Polperro and set between the magnificent coasts of north and south Cornwall, with their fine beaches and surfing venues. Bodmin Moor, with its many secret corners, and the more familiar Dartmoor are each within a short distance, along with the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and other great gardens of Cornwall, including many National Trust properties.
At Tregondale Manor you are always close to a great day out - or you can just relax on the farm and even make use of our hard tennis court.
With peace and quiet on the doorstep, Tregondale Manor is perfect for nature lovers, with wild flowers, bird watching, and plenty more on our woodland trails plus the excitement of calving and lambing times!
Our farmhouse boasts many period features, creating a unique atmosphere and charm. The welcome is always warm whatever the weather and Stephanie's breakfasts are legendary! She also offers optional evening meals. Self-catering Beechleigh Cottage sleeps four and has both bath and shower rooms with all the comforts you expect from a four star gold award property.
Tregondale Manor is steeped in history and the site of a manor dating back to the Domesday Book in 1086, when it was known as Trekendale, and the walled garden is an indication of times long ago. Tregondale Manor is close to the village of Menheniot, which has an excellent shop. There is a great choice of pubs and restaurants in the area – three in Menheniot alone!

Stephanie has just acheived one of Visit Englands NEW Breakfast Awards,and is delighted to be within the 7% of Guest accommodation to acheive this Award in England.Also in 200/8/9/10 being granted the Gold Award from the English Tourist Board, highlighting our commitment to the quality of our accommodation. This means we are now considered to be in the top 10% for quality in England.All our en-suite bedrooms have been recently re-furbished.The green room en-suite now also has a power shower. Tregondale South Devons have just won the Best cow and calf at The Devon County Show and several other Specials in 2010 .We won the Cornwall Truro South Devon Cattle Club Herd Competion in 2009!!Another Balti bull has just made a top price at the Spring Show and Sale at Exeter.Balti7 still remains Reseve Male Champion at the Royal Cornwall Show.
