Enjoy your stay at our Country Farmhouse and Self Catering Cottage
Our Farm House stands in a walled garden on the site of an 11th century manor house mentioned in the Doomsday book. Inside, it's fully modernised and comfortably furnished, not loosing its traditional feel.
You can relax in our gracious lounge with inglenook fireplace and the comfort of a log fire and TV for when the evenings draw in. There is of course, central heating and double-glazing alongside co-ordinated decor.
The Guest Dining Room has views overlooking the farm, and there's a conservatory for relaxing in the glorious sunshine.
There are three luxurious rooms here, which cater for 6 people, each with Freeview TV, en-suite facilities and countryside views. You can choose from:
- Blue Room -
queen sized bed, en-suite shower room with power shower, Freeview Teletext TV, tea/coffee-making facilities. - Green Room -
twin beds, en-suite bath/shower room, Freeview Teletext TV, tea/coffee-making facilities. - Gold Room -
double bed, en-suite shower room with power shower, Freeview Teletext TV, tea/coffee-making facilities.
Tregondale Farm House provides Cornish country cuisine, with local produce and meats raised from the farm. Start your day with a hearty English breakfast, or if you wish you can take a lighter choice.
After breakfast you have the opportunity to settle down in the front conservatory or venture out around the farm. We have a nature trail and wooded areas, a pond for fishing, a tennis court close to the house for watchful parents, and viewing places of our farm stock, which are extremely popular at times of lambing and calving.
There's also plenty of opportunity for the more adventurous, with trails for walking and cycling, and plenty of waterways for those wanting to enjoy and afternoon's fishing.
We also cater for evening meals. Choose from the menu in the morning, and Stephanie will then prepare it for the evening.
Beechleigh Cottage - self categring for four people
Nestling in the lee of Tregondale Farmhouse is an attractive, self-catering cottage ideal for four persons. It is centrally heated, but also has a wood burner. It includes a double room with a private bathroom, and an en-suite twin room.
The cottage includes Freeview Digital TV, a DVD player, a video player and a hi-fi. The kitchen is fully integrated and superbly equipped with all appliances. The patio has barbeque equipment - ideal for those sunny afternoons. Linen and towels are provided, along with a washing machine.
It's suitable all year round and the facilities of the farm are available.
